  We wanted to replace 5" B&W analog tv in bathroom with something that would work with changeover to digital. Saw this 8" color Supersonic LCD and thought it would suit our needs perfectly. It needs to be tuned or set for local stations and instruction booklet is not the most user friendly. We could not get local stations because we didn't understand instructions and were ready to return it when our technology gifted son arrived and within 5 minutes gave us an in-service and set/tuned the set. You do have to figure out the channels, however. It is like their channel 1 is equal to your channel 2 and their #3 is equal to your #4, etc. We had to turn on another tv and see what was playing on the Supersonic to determine which channel it was on. We only utilize the built in extended antennae and the picture, although a little fuzzy, is pretty good. I'm sure if it were attached to our cable or outside antennae the picture would be beautiful. For our purposes at the moment,however, it works and we are happy. Shop around for best price and be sure you are getting a brand new item. Good luck.
