I bought these headphones to use while traveling. I find that using
earbuds are difficult listen with because of background noise. Plus, listening with earbuds for long periods of time causes a little pain in my ears.
These headphones worked great. They didn't shut out all background noise, but muted it enough so that I didn't have to increase the volume. I listen mainly to audiobooks, but the headphones also do a pretty good job when when switching over to music. The bass comes through well and I was
quite surprised at the range of performance for an inexpensive pair of
headphones.
The headphones were also very comfortable to wear. For the price, these are a great little pair of headphones.

The Sennheiser HD 202 is simply a great product and retails for a very reasonable price. The sound is superb and rivals the pricier name brands.
I don't think anyone would be disappointed with these headphones and would appreciate the savings. I paid 4 times as much for another set and they didn't hold up. They also didn't sound any better than the HD202.
Forget the pricier ones and go with these, You'll love them.
| Date: 2008-08-15I bought these headphones because I work in a corporate office with sales people surrounding me. As a graphic designer I need some quietness to be creative. I looked at many "noise canceling" headphones (Sony MDR V150's were a close 2nd, but because of the reviews I went with Sennheiser), i didn't want the weight of a battery to run the "noise canceling" feature nor did I want to replace a battery every week, or spend $100. These sound excellent at a great price! I plan to wear these 8 hours a day. At first they fit snug, we'll see if they stretch out. The band is a lightweight hard plastic, so it bends. The one drawback is they are somewhat uncomfortable with my glasses on, but any over the top headphone will put pressure on your glasses. I do wear them tilted backward, which relieves the pressure. I have yet to come across something that accommodates glasses. I may still look for something else... Without the glasses, my ears fit perfectly inside the cans, not to tight. I have a normal sized head, wear a size (M) fitted baseball cap and a (L) motorcycle helmet if that helps... My co-worker is a big guy (6'2" XL head, larger ears), he says they're a bit small for his ears. I would highly recommend these if your looking for a great sound, lightweight headset, cheap price and do not wear glasses. They do a great job at blocking out background noise. But if your like me and wear glasses, keep looking for something more comfortable.
| Date: 2008-08-12I wear hearing aids and in some locations, groups, etc. I still cannot hear what is going on. I ordered these to use with my Listen Up and it is comfortable and does not cause feedback. I use it with the aids and without.
