| Date: 2008-08-28When I got my product, I tried to install it into my tiny computer, but it wouldn't fit, so I used a different one (my dad's). The advancements were outstanding, the card was low priced and yet, it made every single one of my games at least 12x faster! I'm not a serious gamer, so that means that the games I had didn't need much power and advanced graphics processer, but I was nonetheless impressed.

This was just installed today about a week after i purchased it cause i needed a better power supply...The box says 300 watts but nowhere did it say that in any of the specs...I was kind of disappointed about that but i was going to need to upgrade eventually. The graphics are great and the control panel for this product is very detailed for those of us who dont know what all the lingo is about (concerning graphics and gaming and some visual references)
My windows rating went from 3.2 to a 4.8 for the graphics and for aero it went from a 3.8 to a 4.8 and my overall rating is that very 4.8!!
This card is good for everything from videos to games to applications and so on, so if your not an extreme gamer then i would recommend this Gcard.
| Date: 2008-08-23Good overall performance and low cost, moderate power consumption. Games are now smoother, and you can tune the settings for speed, quality, etc using a slider bar, or more advanced settings for those that want to custom tune and tweak the card. Overall, well worth the $49 paid.

I bought this because the orange box games would crash using my integrated intel card, which was the weak point in my otherwise well equipped system. The card costs NOTHING considering what you get. It installed easily and I can now run anything I care to at the highest settings with unvarying smoothness. Almost any computer should have enough wattage to support it so you won't have to mess around with, god forbid, extra power cables, and the built in fan is more than up to the job.
The card comes with a color adjustment test in the settings panel. I tried it, and it gave me bad advice on the brightness, but once I cranked that back up I was astonished at how much better everything looked. Even icons have a warmth and 'pop' I couldn't have imagined before. No computer component has a lot of 'long term value' if that means running bleeding edge graphics in two to three years, whatever you may hear. This gets the job done now and a five hundred dollar card won't stay current all that much longer than it. I can't recommend this strongly enough.
