  The hood is a perfect fit for my Canon 28-135mm lens. Great value. I am a beginner photographer w/ a Canon 40d. Highly recommend it.

  I can't believe I paid this much money for a piece of plastic. I guess if it works though then its alright. I don't know how much they usually are but it just seems expensive for what you get. Its a tulip style lenses hood and it is made for canon lenses. It makes the camera look professional, but I bought it because it protects the lens and reduce chance of lens flare. So far so good.   I have purchased Canon EOS 30D camera a year ago, but can't find lens hood in a regular store like best buy, circuit city and etc. But i still wanted my camera lenses to be protected, so i was searching for this product. And i found it @ amazingly good site amazon.com. I'm not new customer of amazon, i had bought several products, and i did get what i ordered in the best shape. Thanks to the people who take care of the customer.

  It does all things as advestised, but itz just too expensive for a piece of plastic... there are many subsitutes on the market, some are just selling for less than half the price of this one, i bought this becuase of the brand name.
